Why Signature Campaign Doesn't Work?

Government of India has no signature database to verify citizens' signatures. So, if you collect genuine signatures then the MPs / MLAs would say all the signatures are fake. So, only collecting signatures are not enough along this you also have to collect the voter card no. of the people. Voter-ID are available in govt. websites so it can easily be cross-checked.
